The National Historical Museum is one of the country’s most popular museums. Its holdings contain the most numerous museum collections in Belarus numbering about 500,000 items. The structure of the museum includes 5 branches:
Memorial House of the first congress of RSDLP,
The Museum of Belarusian Cinema History,
The Museum of the Theatre and Musical Culture History of the Republic of Belarus,
The Museum of Nature and Environment of the Republic of Belarus,
The Museum of Contemporary Belarusian Statehood.
The permanent exhibition and the theme long term projects of the National Historical Museum introduce visitors to different aspects of the Belarus population life from ancient time until 20th century.
