Decree of The President of The Republic of Belarus

On Declaring 2016 as the Year of Culture

In order to create a strong culture of society, preservation of cultural heritage and national traditions, upbringing the love for the Fatherlandof to citizens, I decree:

1. To declare 2016 as the Year of Culture in the Republic of Belarus

2. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus:

together with the regional executive committees, Minsk City Executive Committee to develop and confirm the republican plan of events for the 2016 Year of Culture;

to coordinate the activities of state bodies and other organizations on the implementation of the plan.

3. This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
