Hand to Hand: Share the Splendor of World Civilizations

Museums are palaces for sheltering and inheriting human civilization, and important platforms for exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. In July 2022 the National Museum of China and 33 leading museums at home and abroad will gather online to jointly hold the event "Treasure Hunt Relay: Global Museum Director’s Choice" under the theme of "Hand in Hand: Share the Splendor of World Civilizations".

In this project directors of 10 Chinese and 24 foreign museums across five continents show the splendid achievements of human civilizations through the display of 152 valuable museum items. The event spreads civilizational concepts of equality, mutual learning, dialogue and inclusiveness, enhance the understanding of the values of different civilizations, and promote the development of a community with a shared future for mankind.
