MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS AND THE MINISTRY OF HERITAGE AND CULTURE OF SULTANATE OMAN IN THE SPHERE OF HERITAGE AND CULTURE IS SIGNED

Oman was interested in the Belarusian experience in preserving the historical and cultural heritage. This became known after the talks of the Minister of Culture of Belarus Yuri Bondar with the Minister of Culture and Heritage, member of the royal family of the Sultanate of Oman Haysam bin Tariq al–Said. The parties also discussed the possibility of performances by the troops of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus in Oman and took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the National Historical Museum "Belarus – at the Crossroads of Civilizations" in the Oman National Museum, which will take place in Moscat until July 4, 2018.

During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman in the field of heritage and culture, as well as an agreement on cooperation between the historical museums of Belarus and Oman.
